became a housewife and mother raising a family. Marcella had attended the East Iron Hill Community Church where she was active in the church Ladies Aid. She was an excellent cook and host of family gatherings, and an excellent seamstress who sewed many of her own clothes and Kathy's clothes when she was younger. She loved vegetable and flower gardening and in her earlier years enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseback riding. In retirement, she loved traveling and camping with Bob in their motor home and had spent winters in Arizona since 1998. Those left to honor Marcella's memory include her husband Robert "Bob" Dorsey of Maquoketa, IA; a daughter Kathleen Joanne (Larry) Schooley of Cedar Rapids, IA; step-children, Margaret Ann Smith of Cedar Rapids, IA, John Dague of Maquoketa, IA, Cindy (Jerry) Schau of Monmouth, IA, Karen (William) Mize of Fairmont, OK, Tom (Sue) Dorsey of Hannibal, MO, Pam (Bill) Thompson of Iowa City, IA, and James (Denise) Dorsey of San Marcos, TX; sisters Mildred Wilcox of Maquoketa, IA, Lorraine Makeever of Monmouth, IA, and Joyce Clark of Delmar, IA; a brother Ronald (Linda) Miller of Moline, IL; 2 grandchildren, Brian Schooley and Bradley Schooley; 6 great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren and 26 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard, a great-grandson Brenden Schooley and a step-great-grandson, Brody Bellinger. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Marcella L.
