Christopher Anderson

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at St Paul Lutheran Church, Lakota, with Pastors Judy Junkermeier and Ron Wheeler. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the church. Christopher Gary Anderson, son of Gary and Karen (Althof) Anderson was born November 8, 1971 at Blue Earth, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. In 1990 Christopher graduated from North Iowa High School, Buffalo Center. While in high school, FFA was an important part of his life. Church was also a priority. He was very active at St. Paul Lutheran with Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, and collecting points to help those groups to receive free items. Christopher was an avid Star Trek fan, he loved to sing, and enjoyed assisting his parents with recycling and Anderson Sanitation. But by far the most important thing in his life was his relationship with his nephew Matthew, whom he dearly cherished. With his family by his side, Christopher departed from this life on Friday, May 27, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN at the age of 39.
