s Office for three years and later volunteered at the Jackson County Public Hospital and delivered Meals-On-Wheels. Louise was a member of the United Church of Christ in Maquoketa, The Tuesday Club, Maquoketa American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the WOCT (Women of the Old United Church). Louise enjoyed playing cards, going for coffee with her sisters and friends, going for car rides, taking trips, going to the casino, watching the Hawkeyes and Cubs on television, and traveling with her husband Howard. Additionally, she liked flowers and being outdoors. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Those left to honor Louise's memory include her children, James Gregory (Josie) Schwenker of Davenport, IA, Bill (Bonnie) Schwenker of Maquoketa, IA, and Jon (Arden) Schwenker of Maquoketa, IA; a sister, Nancy (Bill) Mayberry of Maquoketa, IA; 3 grandchildren, Aaron (Angie), Mark and Dillon; 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Nola and Brooks; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard, and sisters Evelyn Reynolds and Janis Luett. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Compassus Hospice.
