the Drug Store in Manson for three years. Jim then attended business school AIB in Des Moines. He enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict receiving his honorable discharge in 1954. Jim was united in marriage to Dora Whitney on February 11, 1956 in Des Moines. The couple established their home in Des Moines until moving to Fort Dodge in 1959. He then became employed at Gus Glaser Meats in bookkeeping until 1972, and later Rodenborn Glove Factory for 17 years in accounting. Jim semi-retired in 1989 and drove school bus for five years for the Fort Dodge School System. Jim was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the American Legion. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
