Richard Alan Lynn

Richard A. Lynn, 68, of Vincent, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. Corpus Christi Church with Father Patrick Behm officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at Newark Township Cemetery near Vincent. A visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Richard is survived by his wife, Barb of Vincent; his children, T.J. (Emily) Lynn; Ryan Lynn and his fiancé, Jackie, all of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Lucy and Ellie Lynn; sister, Judy (Mark) McBeth. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard Alan Lynn was born July 27, 1948 in Fort Dodge to James and Margaret (Pingel) Lynn. He attended grade school in Newark Township School and Vincent Elementary School. He graduated from Eagle Grove Community Schools in 1966 and attended Lincoln Technical School in Des Moines. Richard was enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1968, serving in Vietnam.
