Robert "Bob" Linzey, 77, of Kingston, passed unexpectedly Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine. He was born October 30, 1939 in Malden on Hudson, NY, the son of the late Irving and Ruth Nash Linzey.
For many years he was self employed as an over the road tractor trailer drive, he was also a forklift and heavy equipment operator, having been employed by Russell Paper, Treasure Chest and Methods Tool & Die.
He enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo, loved Bluegrass music and in the 60's played in the "Catskill Mountaineers" a country western and bluegrass band.
Bob is survived by his former wife Alice Linzey, his daughters Robin Linzey, Jill Ryan and a son Robert Linzey, step sons, John, Leonard and Joseph Dodd, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his wife Lillian Linzey.
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Friends may call on Saturday from 10 - 12 pm. The service will be at 12 noon.
