Barbara's birth father, 2nd Lt. Lloyd Kent, U.S. Army/Air Force, was killed in action over the South China Sea during World War II. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life and indomitable spirit will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Avenue, Kingston. Burial of her ashes will be private and at the convenience of the family. Barbara, with her feisty spirit and wonderful sense of humor, will be sorely missed by her family and friends who loved her.
