Stanley J. Edinger

Stanley J. Edinger, 75, of Reynolds Street, Kingston, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Kingston Hospital. He was born August 5, 1934 in Kingston, to the late Harry and Eleanor (Hudler) Edinger. He was the husband of Gloria Lounsbery Edinger, they wed on October 6, 1956. He was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1953, and then graduated from SUNY Delhi, with a degree in building trades He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959. Mr. Edinger was a Foreman for Spinnenweber Construction & Supply of Port Ewen for over 55 years. He was a member of the Reformed Church of the Comforter. He enjoyed traveling, in particular Ocean cruises, NASCAR, years ago he enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a fan of the Yankees and the Mets. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Jody C. Edinger, Kingston, daughter Major Regina V. Carbonari, USMC, Jacksonville, NC, brothers Peter Edinger, Richmond, VA, Harry Glenn Edinger, Vancouver, BC, John Eric Edinger, Wayne, PA, several nieces and nephews.
