Victor E. Hake, 80, of Lake Katrine, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Kingston Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born September 30, 1932 in Cochecton, NY to the late Julius and Matilda (Heinle) Hake. Victor was married to his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn (Miller) Hake; they wed on September 20th 1956. Victor served his country in the US Army and then went on to work as an engineer for IBM in Kingston for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. Victor loved to golf and won many golf tournaments over the years. He was a long time member of Wiltwyck Country Club and Stone Dock Golf Club and also worked in the pro shop at the Hudson Valley Resort. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Debra Celuch and her husband Kevin of Grand Rapids, MI and Donna Whaley and her husband Harry of Lake Katrine, grandchildren, Alexandra Croswell, Christopher Celuch, Christopher Whaley, Jennifer Whaley, Andrew Champagne and Connor Celuch, as well as several nieces and nephews.
