Marcella Symons, 69, of Sioux City, IA, formerly of Lorain, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Pioneer Valley Living and Rehab in Sergeant Bluff, IA.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. There will be no local services. Burial will be in Lorain, Ohio.
Marcella was born on August 25, 1947 in Amherst, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Clark) Dailey. She attended Clearview School. She married Kenny Symons and they settled in Lorain, Ohio. Marcella was a caretaker at the Siouxland Family Homeless Shelter for many years. She was a kindhearted lady who would give the shirt off her back to anyone.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking care of others and drawing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lillian Dailey; her husband, Kenny Symons; brothers, Donald and William Dailey; and sisters, Shirley Miller, Margaret Rivera and Beverly Duncan.
