Larry "Cheeseburger" Hymes, 58, of Burlington died at 1:27 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at Great River Medical Center - Emergency Room.
Born July 24, 1958 in Norwich, Connecticut, he was the son of LeeRoy C. and Patricia (Smith) Hymes.
Larry was a welder for most of his life and was currently working as a machine operator at Winegard Co.
Larry was the most loving person you would ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back. He loved his family and grandchildren. He also loved music, cars, camping, attending cruise nights, Monday night wrestling, and pizza.
Survivors include one daughter; Amanda DeCoursey of Burlington; two sons; William "Will" Hymes of Farmington and James Hymes of Burlington; three grandchildren, Preston DeCoursey, Korbin Fors, and Peyton DeCoursey; one sister, Rose (Tom) Woodruff of Burlington; and three nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, May 5th, at Lunning Chapel.
A memorial has been established.
Cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
