He enjoyed camping and had many fond memories of summer vacations spent at Montgomery County Park with family and friends. He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing cards with his group of friends on a regular basis. Philip enjoyed woodworking and was an avid gardener for many years. He also loved to take photographs of his family and while traveling. He was a great storyteller. He was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Fort Washington and was very helpful in many church functions. An 11:00 AM Funeral Service will be celebrated with Pastor Kris Chandler officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler.
