r wanted to be in the limelight. If you were a relative or friend, you learned she was quiet, thoughtful, and caring. Sena enjoyed crocheting. Many people own scrubbers that she made from nylon net and sold for 50 cents each. She and Forrest were accomplished rug makers, weaving rugs from used material and denim jeans. They would often come home to find a bag of material by the back door. She also enjoyed Christmas with all of the decorations and baking that goes along with it. For many years her mother, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews would celebrate Christmas and the 4th of July at her home on the farm. Sena will be missed by her children; Roger (Barbara) McGregor of Boone, Marjorie (Carter) Crittenden of Atlanta, daughter-in-law, Donnette McGregor of Sioux Falls and Carol (Dale) Heitland of Clear Lake; grandchildren, Monica (Dan) Huyser of Ames, Suzanne (Clay) James of Phoenix, John Crittenden of Atlanta, Jeffrey (Sherri) McGregor of Sioux Falls, Joel (Rebecca) McGregor of Sioux Falls, Jeremy (Michelle) McGregor of Tea, Jennifer (Steve) Hirsch of Sioux Falls, Kendra (Eric) Amundson of Leland, and Kayla (Brian) Meredith of Kansas City; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew (Rozella) Estherville; sisters, Elsie Selberg of Mason City, Ada Williams of Estherville, Leona Kleine of Princeton, MN; and sisters-in-law, Betty Swalve of LeMars; special friends, Karyl and Becky Anderson of Alabaster, AL, and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest in 2013; son, Vernon in 1991; parents; brother, Roy, Richard, John, Evert, Otto, and Ellsworth; sisters, Frances, Annie, Tillie and Anita.
