University of Minnesota, earned in 1980, Sister Paulette taught at the Oklahoma University College of Pharmacy and St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She also obtained a B.S. in Pastoral Ministries from Kansas Newman College in 1989. Sister Paulette moved to Dayton, Ohio, in 1992 to care for family members and worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Sub Acute Care at the Dayton Veteran's Administration Medical Center until 2005 when she retired to Philadelphia, PA. At the Medical Mission Sisters North American Headquarters in Fox Chase she worked in the Archives Department and offered private consults on pharmacology. In 2015 she and other residents at St. Joseph's Manor where she lived the last years of her life received a PEER group Award from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. They were recognized for their efforts in initiating and carrying out a state-wide petition, requesting that those receiving Medicaid get an increase of their Personal Needs Allowance. Throughout Sister's years as a healing presence in pharmacy and education, she also served on a variety of committees for Medical Mission Sisters. Sister Paulette's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 26 at 10:00 AM at the Medical Mission Sisters' Chapel at 8400 Pine Road, Fox Chase.
