Catherine M. Eisert

OREGON-Catherine M. Eisert, age 56, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. She was born on Aug. 30, 1960, in Neenah, the daughter of Keith and Vernice (Ekquist) Knudsen.  She married David Eisert on April 16, 1994.  Catherine graduated from Neenah High School in 1978. She attained a bachelor's degree at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and a master's degree in Adult and Pediatric Care from UW-Madison.  She worked at the UW-Hospital Oncology Department as a Nurse Practitioner, and as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in Middleton and West-Madison, and as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner in Stoughton and Beloit, and most recently worked for Johns Hopkins Medicine at Frito Lay in Beloit as a Program Director and Nurse Practitioner.  Catherine was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, UW Hoofers and Four Lakes Scuba Club.  As a child, Catherine enjoyed Girl Scouts, then went on to become a camp nurse at Chalk Hill. n; mother-in-law, Helen Eisert; and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by father-in-law, Ernest Eisert.  Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017, with the Rev. Kurt Billings presiding.  A luncheon will follow the service.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
