Robert W. Marsh, 91, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2017. Visitation: 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the funeral home. Rev. Diane Townsley will officiate. Inurnment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date.

Robert was born February 15, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Floyd and Lorraine (Cooley) Marsh. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Robert married Dorothy Dorman in San Francisco, California, on April 22, 1945. He worked at Ilten's, Inc. in management until he retired in 1988. Robert was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post # 298, Marion, Iowa. He enjoyed traveling but when he was home he was a master at making homemade bread. Robert also enjoyed playing cards and getting together with the neighborhood card club.
