Mrs. Shirley Ann Augsburger, 81, of Burlington died at 10:46 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Burlington Care Center.
Born November 29, 1935 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Lyman and Mabel (Stewart) Dirth. On November 30, 1957 she married Albert "Al" Nicholas Augsburger in Burlington. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2000.
Mrs. Augsburger worked in production at I.A.A.P. for 31 years, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed playing Bingo in Illinois, crocheting and fishing.
Survivors include one son, Roger Scott Augsburger of Florida; one daughter, Amber Lynn Green of Burlington; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Dirth and Larry Dirth both of Burlington; and two sisters, Barbara Stone of Lebanon, Missouri and Sharon Hayes of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Melody Sue Augsburger, two brothers and one sister.

A memorial has been established for Des Moines County Humane Society.
Cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel and will be accorded following the funeral service.
