er life, along with her school children. She cherished receiving letters from former students who shared with her how she had made a difference in their lives. She loved to cook, savored a good meal, and genuine conversation around the table. Rosie loved holidays, especially Christmas, when the family made peanut brittle (a Christmas tradition). Her family celebrated "Rosie's Christmas Feast" on Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Albenesius'. She also enjoyed ceramics and playing Bingo. Survivors include her brother, Emmett (Carol) Albenesius of Dakota City, NE; nieces and nephews, Chris (Beth) Vos and their sons, Jonathon and Caleb, Tonia (Troy) Emmons and their children, Trevon, Tori, Travis and Tyler, Danies Lundquist and her children, Makayla and Derek, Veronica (Jeff) Schmidt and their children, Brent and Brooklynn, Amanda (Mike) Husmann and their daughters, Abigail, Shaylee and Briella, Angela (Troy) Plueger and their daughters, Maya and Adalynn "Addy", Laura (Mick) Lockert and their children, Carter and Caitlin, Eric (Meghan) Albenesius and their sons, Leo and Jack, Brian Albenesius and his girlfriend, Sara Tvrdy, Kevin Albenesius, and Scott Albenesius. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Ione Albenesius; siblings Darlene (Frank) Vos and Dee Retland; as well as aunts, uncles and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for designations to be made at a later time.
