Frank D. Davis, 75, of Brighton, passed away June 5, 2017. He was born in Canyon, TX on April 22, 1942 to William and Frances (Kinsey) Davis and graduated from Canyon High School in 1960. He married Elinore Mahlman on April 30, 1988 in Brighton.
Frank spent his teenage years working on a farm in Canyon, TX, which he and his brother later purchased. In his adult life he delivered fuel for Richardson's, worked for the Texas Highway Department, Bell Helicopter and Southwestern Public Service. He moved to Wichita, KS in 1977 to work for Learjet until moving to the Denver area in 1982 to continue working in the aircraft industry. In his later years he came full circle and delivered fuel for Farmland Industries and Cenex where he retired in 2004.
Frank is survived by his wife, Elinore of Brighton; two children, Steve Davis and wife Dessie of Irving, TX and Allyson Day of Littleton; two sisters, LuRue Vance of Kerrville, TX and Camilla Greenfield of Montgomery, TX; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister and one son.
