otorcycles, airplanes and tanks. A lifelong motorcycle rider, he bought a convertible to keep the wind in his hair when he was no longer able to ride. He was an amateur artist, studying in several art schools. Jim's doodles and drawings were found on any piece of paper in front of him. Before his retirement, he drew a coloring book for Fire Prevention Week for the Green Bay Fire Department. In Jim's retirement, he enjoyed spending time at home with his neighborhood animal friends, birds, ducks and squirrels, including a squirrel that sat on his lap to eat out of his hand. Jim also traveled with his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed his hobby of photography, taking pictures of his travels with his family. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Pat Cropsey; his four children and their families, Holly (Mike) Goza, and children, Mitch and Kelsey (Dave Lanzhammer); Mark (Karen) Cropsey, and children, Zach and Emily; Mike (Wendy) Cropsey, and children, Alex (Hailey Valentine) and Abi (Edwin) Ogbonna; great-grandchildren, Remington and Kincaid Cropsey, Trinity and Serena Ogbonna and Heather (Tom) Goodletson, and children, Kyla, Luke (Cassi Edwards), Ryan and Tessa. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Almond and Lucille Neville; and his much loved cats, Munchkin and Tinkerbell. Family and friends may gather at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., on Sunday, June 11, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Entombment will be at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund has been established in Jim's name for future donation to Unity Hospice and Bay Area Humane Society. Jim's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Unity Hospice and the amazing caregivers for their compassion and care during Jim's illness.
