She graduated from Keota High School and Indian Hills Community College with a degree in Cosmetology. On May 24, 1986 she was united in marriage to Robert Lane in Keota. Pearl has lived her entire life in the Keota community where she was a cosmetologist. She was a member of the Keota United Church of Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter Brittany, photography, sewing and quilting. Pearl died on Monday, August 15, 2005 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa following a brief illness at the age of 39 years.
