She married Rodney Clark Clubb on March 20, 1948, in North English, Iowa. She has lived in the Millersburg and Williamsburg communities all of her life. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, making noodles and jelly, and most of all spending time with her family. Orpha died on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, after a brief illness, at the age of 79 years, 3 days. She was preceded in death by parents; husband in 1995; a daughter Violet in 2004; two brothers LaVern and Kenneth; and a sister Eva Worrall. Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2009, at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremations Service in Williamsburg. Rev. Kip Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery near Millersburg. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 at the Powell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a general memorial fund has been established.
