Litwiller Jr. was born January 30, 1958 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Jimmy and Jacqueline (Miller) Litwiller Sr. He graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in 1976. On October 10, 1980 he was united in marriage to Mary Kallaus at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond. He has lived in the Wellman community all of his life where he farmed, and has operated J&B Truck Repair with his children since 1999. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially Jacob, Joshua and Hailey. He also enjoyed raising livestock. Jim died of an apparent heart attack on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at his home in rural Wellman at the age of 51 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother Jacqueline Flanegan; and his father-in-law Robert Kallaus. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, where the family will be present from 4-8 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.
