Mildred passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 96. She is survived by 5 children: Doris (Chris) Rembold, Louisburg, Kansas; Arlene (Marlen) Junck, Stoughton, Wisconsin; Evelyn (Glenn) Beavers, Ames, Iowa; Dwight (Peg) Gildemeister, Williamsburg; and Shirley (Charles) Coulson, Anchorage, Alaska; 16 grandchildren: Eric (Brooke) Rembold; Anthony (Laurie) Junck, Lisa (Jon) MacDonald, Susan (Blaine) Longsworth, David (Jenny) Junck, Marianne Junck (John Pokorney); Elizabeth Beavers, Katherine Beavers, Jonathan Beavers; Adam Gildemeister, Sara Gildemeister, David Gildemeister, Ellen (Jim) Driscoll; Andrew Coulson, Laura Coulson and Lindsey Coulson. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren: Brody and Gwenyn Rembold; Luke, Levi, Kai, Chloe and Phoebe Junck; Sydney, Peter, Emily and Benjamin MacDonald; August, Emma,and Oliver Longsworth; Miller, Finley and Lucy Junck. She is also survived by the following nephews and nieces: John R. (Gerry) Jones, David (Kathy) Jones, Darlo (Diana) Kelting, Lanette (Lyle) Crow, Delbert Selk, Dorothy (Dale) Selk, Darlo (Betty) Jones, Richard (Judy) Jones, Gary (Mary) Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, parents, sisters Freda Kelting and Viola Gildemeister and brother Harold Kelting. Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Pastor Louie Gallo will officiate. Burial will be at Pilot Grove Cemetery rural Williamsburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
