Norbert published an inspiring autobiography in 2009, entitled 'A Life Filled With Miracles'. Those left to cherish his loving memories are brother Albert; children Patrick (Teresa) Kash, Joseph Kash, Angela (Anthony) Krainik, Anthony (Nancy) Kash, Monica Kash, Margaret (Jean-Baptiste) Lassarat, and Rosemary (Daniel) Cheke; grandchildren Elizabeth Fischer, Joni Nightingale, Megan Brue, Kristine Kash, Emily Kash, Julia Lassarat, Charlotte Lassarat, Patrick Cheke, Nicholas Cheke, and Zachary Cheke; great-grandchildren Harper, Brady, Kashton, Sebastian, Vincent, and Gentry. Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife Martha, infant son Timothy, sister Evelyn ("Dickie") Smith, and daughter-in-law Shelley Kash. Memorial contributions may be directed to either St. Mary's Catholic Church or Colo Public Library, both in Colo, IA. Fredregill Funeral Home, in Zearing, has been entrusted with the care of Norbert and his family.
