Norma Van Loon

Norma (McDonald) Van Loon, 89, Muncie, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehab Center following an extended illness. She was born March 1, 1928 in West Baden, Indiana, the daughter of Rex and Ruth (Leffler) McDonald. Norma was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. She married Kenneth Van Loon on January 22, 1949, and they made their home in the Gaston area. Norma loved her family, music, gardening, taking care of her flowers and playing Uno with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Rick (wife Jane) Van Loon, Charlestown, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Kathie Van Loon, Flora, Indiana; two grandsons, Aaron (wife Cathy) Van Loon, Memphis, Indiana and Jeromy (wife Erica) Van Loon, Culver City, California; four great-grandchildren, Nick and Ryan, Memphis, Indiana and Cate and Evie, Culver City, California; one brother, Terry (wife Carol) McDonald, Wabash, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. .
