president of the church council in Poynette and led a new church building project. He also assisted with numerous events.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dona Kenefick; two sons, Tyler (Janice) Kenefick, and Todd (Mary) Kenefick; his daughter, Amy (Matt) Hanson; six grandchildren, Allison and Brandon Kenefick, Sean (Nina) and Austin Kenefick and Lauren and Jacob Hanson; a great-granddaughter, Auri Elizabeth Kenefick; siblings, Donald, Lois Dott, Loren 'Bud' and Carol DeMeo; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Neesam; two nephews, William Kenefick and Ronald Dott; two sister-in-laws, Ruth Kenefick and Carol Kenefick and a brother-in-law, Douglas Roberts.
A memorial service will be held at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 550 Lincoln Drive, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Timothy Hansen officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie or the Paul C Carbone Cancer Center, 600 Highland Ave, K4/658 Madison, WI 53792.
Ray will be deeply missed by his numerous friends and family.
