Edward Fernandez

Edward "Eddie" Fernandez, age 69, passed away on July 15, 2017 with his family and friends at his side. He was a resident of Southwest Ranches for 39 years. For the past year, he fought a brave and courageous fight against Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was waiting for a lung transplant, but his time on earth ran short. Please become an organ donor. You can save lives. Eddie was the founder of E & J Sod and EMF Land Services along with his two sons. He was so proud to work alongside his sons every day. He enjoyed going to work every day for that reason. He cherished spending time with his family on many motorhome vacation trips over the years. Spending time in the mountains of N. Carolina was another passion in his life. He loved being surrounded by family and friends. He will never know how many hearts he touched. He was loved by everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judy. They met when she was 15 years old and have been together ever since. Survived by his beloved sons, Eddie and Michael and his wife Cari.
