was in mission in Nicaragua, then was assigned to the Medical Mission Sisters' International Headquarters in London to serve as Assistant Archivist. In 1986, she moved to Peru where for 10 years she was involved in a variety of pastoral ministries, especially with women. Sister Nina then returned to Philadelphia where she has served as a healing presence among women in prison and in recovery from drug addiction. She also worked in the Church Ministry Institute of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and remained active in justice work until her death. Sister Nina's Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at The Medical Mission Sisters' North American Headquarters in Philadelphia. Gifts in her memory are appreciated by the community.
