ral part of his entire earthly journey. Upon his return to civilian life, Paul began his career with Union Hoermann Press and would loyally devote over 33 years of his time and talents with his company, co-workers and friends, until his well earned retirement had finally arrived. In his free time, Paul enjoyed sitting down to the weekly NASCAR races, or hitting the open road on his bike to feel the freedom of the wind in his hair. But, let's be sure to understand that family was always the most important aspect of Paul's life. Paul continually sacrificed for his loved ones in many forms; it could simply be some generous help with a current project, or the ever-present compassionate attendance during a health issue which was made much easier because of his strong hand by your side. Paul has left behind a firm example of how we care for those we love and his legacy of strength, courage and "stubbornness within the struggle" will be carried forward for generations to come. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our father, grandfather, brother and friend, but we know that the last couple of years have been very difficult for Paul, and we are forever grateful that he is finally at peace and we'll surely see him again one day where he'll definitely be eager to get us caught up on all the new stories he's been waiting to share.
