e was able to discover retirement at the prime young age of 49. Philip has always treasured every opportunity to get out and ride his bike, but after retirement his love for the open road, or the most recent benefit run, were surely embraced with a newly found and invigorated passion. All who knew Philip personally would easily admit that he was a strong-willed man; but as much mischief as he would discover in his youth, he would completely override with his devotion to all he cared for along his journey. If you were a family member, or friend of Philip's, you could easily rest assured that he would definitely be there for you if the opportunity ever arose to prove his loyalty. Philip was an extremely fun loving soul who impacted the world around him in more ways than we can ever possibly count. Our hearts ache at their core today after the sudden loss of our dear husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. We will have one final toast to Philip at the Boat Club, while we both laugh and cry, as we cherish all the funny memories he leaves behind. Our tribe of 7 is now down to 6, and we are sad that God took the best home first, but we know we'll all be reunited again one day and the status of favorite will obviously be up for open debate once again.
