Aurora Gonzalez

Aurora Gonzalez, 87, left to be with our Heavenly Father Monday, June 26, 2017 at her residence in Alvin, TX. Aurora was born December 27, 1929 to Antonio Izquierdo and Audelia Rivera in Edcouch, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Federico B. Gonzalez, and her sister Sayla Gorena. Left to cherish her memories is her children; Daniel (Nancy) Gonzalez, Noelia G. (Marco) Castillo, Blanca (Jay) Adame, Sonia Gonzalez, 8-grandchildren, 8-great grandchildren, 7-great great grandchildren, her brothers, Baldemar Izquierdo, Oscar Izquierdo, her sisters, Dora Gonzalez and Rebecca Garza.

A celebration of her life will be today at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Theresa of the infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Fernie Castillo, Rick Gonzalez, Danny Gonzalez, Roger Gonzalez, Abe Alonzo and Mando Aguilar.

Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park of Weslaco, Texas.
