e couldn't dance because of her COPD. She not only loved dance and music but was an avid artist until that too was no longer possible. She is survived by her Husband, Stanley, her three sons; Stanley (Becky) Piernick of New Braunfels, Texas; Joseph (Patti) Piernick of Port Charlotte, Florida and Mark (Michele) Piernick of Charlotte, North Carolina; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren as well as her sister; Margaret (Peggy) Cassinari of Colchester, Connecticut and her brother; George (Kathe) Pare' of West Minster, Colorado as well as her three greatly loved cats; Fluffs, Punkin and Chrissy. Mary Ann was very active in her faith and along with her husband were among the founding members of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mary Anne's life was about giving and until it was no longer possible was an Eucharistic Minister at San Antonio and was very proud and happy to be an Emmaus Sister. She will always be remembered as one who lived her faith and received the greatest pleasure from giving to others. She is and will be greatly missed as she spends eternity in Heaven.
