Richard "Rich" Henderson, age 55, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on September 29, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to Wayne and Gennevive (Van Sant) Henderson.. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Henderson; son, Travis Henderson; sister, Sue (Dean) Gerstenberger; stepdaughters, Tina Sease and Leah (John) Mortale; niece, Ashley Gerstenberger; nephew, Jameson Gerstenberger; dear friends, Sue and Dave Torres; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Rich's Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Rising Sun Church of Christ, 6390 NE Rising Sun Dr., Pleasant Hill.
