Desmond A. Barros, 57, of Denver, passed away July 24, 2017 in Denver. He was born March 24, 1960 in Denver to Mike and Lillian (Solano) Barros and graduated from Ranum High School in 1978. He served in the US Air Force form 1979-1984 as an MP.
Desmond worked at various commercial printing offices in the Denver Area. He loved fishing, camping and was an avid Broncos and Rockies fan. He enjoyed playing the accordion and had played as a guest on the Lawrence Welk show. Desmond loved life and had an outgoing personality. He could carry on a conversation with anyone and everyone.
Desmond is survived by his mother, Lillian Barros, of Brighton; sister, April (David) Apodaca and Darrin (Valerie) Barros, both of Brighton; four nieces and one nephew. Other survivors include numerous other relatives.
He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his father, Mike, in 2011.
The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11:00am at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton.
