Paulette R. Glaspie

Paulette R. Glaspie, 70, of Waterloo, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1946 in Waterloo the daughter of Paul and Kathryn (Morelock) Taylor. Paulette was a 1965 graduate of Waterloo East High School and received her LPN degree from Hawkeye Community College. She married James R. Glaspie, Sr. on January 28, 1967 at the Salvation Army Chapel in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on April 6, 2017. Paulette worked as an LPN at Harmony House and retired from Arrowhead Clinic, working as Dr. Larry Standing's nurse for many years. Survived by: 2 sons, James R. (Jan) Glaspie, Jr. of Cedar Falls and Jeff Glaspie of Des Moines; a daughter, Jennifer Glaspie of Waterloo; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and two sisters, Pauline Bickner of Waterloo and Paula (Mike) Wyant of Evansdale.
