Evelyn Boyle passed away the morning of Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 at a local health care and rehab
in Waxahachie where she had resided for the past three months. She would have been 104 on Aug. 25, 2017.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet.
Evelyn was a long time resident of Fort Worth and had lived in her horne on Primrose Ave. for over 78 years. She was married to John Sheppard Boyle Jr. (deceased). Early in her career she was an avid golfer and a member of the Sycamore Womens Golf Assoc., where she won several tournaments. She was constantly "on the go", she never met a stranger and loved to travel and visit friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Barbara Jean Putman; grandchild, Kevin Boyle.
