Helen Arlene Simms (80) passed away on Monday July 24th, 2017. She was born in San Francisco California on June 10th, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Weldon Ray Simms. She was survived by her daughters Susie Borougerdi and husband Moe, Deborah Schmitz and husband Tom, Wanda Jenicke and husband Joe, Stacey Simms, Glenda Simms and fiancé Robert Harper. 10 grandchildren: Bradley Borougerdi and wife Brandi, Blake Borougerdi, Leila Borougerdi, Sarah Tessmar and husband Kevin, Rachael Walker, Diana Schmitz, Natalie Hale, Amanda Jenicke and fiancé Jason Henson, Justin Jenicke and wife Jeanie, Warren Jenicke and wife Jennifer. 15 great grandchildren: Aiden, Meadow, Ashlynn, Evah, Luke, Dylan, Stella, Zachary and fiancé Taylor, Sydney, Joseph, Ray, Julia, Ja'Nae, Jacob and Jordyn. 2 great-great grandchildren Lennon and Sawyer. Several nieces, nephews and loved ones.

She loved to spend time with family, travel, rescue animals, attend concerts, play bingo and gamble. Helen volunteered at the West Freeway Church of Christ Benevolence Center for several years. She lived her life to the fullest.
