es Lutheran Brethren Church in Seattle. She was a strong woman in many ways - a great hostess when people dropped in to visit, she somehow could put out a spread of food with seemingly nothing in the refrigerator. She was a life-long student of the Scriptures, a capable women's Bible teacher and a faithful prayer warrior. She raised her five boys from infancy to know and love the Lord. Survivors include her four sons and their wives, Norman and Gloria Erickson, Cam and Barbara Erickson, Forrest and Julie Erickson and Lanel and Susan Erickson, her grandchildren, Drew Erickson, Dana and Aaron Repp, Kjirsti and Ryan Nilsen, Ronda and Brian Clark, Lance and Caroline Erickson, Lori and Brian Barth, Jeremy and Kim Erickson, Steven and Shannon Erickson, Joel and Kathryn Erickson, Ryan and Kristin Erickson, Nathan and Jessica Erickson, Nat and Courtney Erickson, Chad and Cheryle Erickson, Brent and Sarah Erickson and 41 great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett, her brother, Orlin and Marjory Gudim, her son, Owan, Doreen and Timothy Erickson, grandson, Jay and Katrina Erickson and great grandson, Braaten Nilsen. Carol was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her strong love for the Lord and love of His word will always be remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park and Cemetery, 11111 Aurora Ave North, Seattle, WA 98133.
