Eugene Phillip Slocum, 69, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away in Broomfield at the Broomfield Skilled Nursing Center.
Eugene was born on News Year Day in 1948 to Bertha (Dill) and Floyd Slocum in Denver, Colorado.
Eugene lived most of his life in Brighton where he attended schools, after which he served in the United States Navy. He worked at the Henderson Mill and then at Spain's Pump Service as an electrician. He loved to fish, play pool and go to Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and is survived by his sister; Carole (Alan) Rice of Brighton, and his brother; Gerald (Nancy) Slocum of Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Eugene was laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
