Miramar Beach, Florida. Health and fitness were important to him, and he played golf until he was 90 years old. Warren was an active member and ordained elder of Community of Christ. He served the church in many capacities from lay pastor and stewardship commissioner to youth camp director. He was a member of the Davenport congregation, was a founding member of the Bettendorf congregation, and in the winter served the Fort Walton Beach congregation in Florida. Survivors include his wife Helen, son David (Hector Herrera), Chicago; daughter Nancy (Dr. Nelson Chesney), Bettendorf; two granddaughters, five step grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a sister Jeanne Hinkle Fitzpatrick, Greencastle, IN. His brother John D. Hinkle preceded him in death. Memorials can be made to Community of Christ Davenport or Outreach International.
