tation. He drove truck for Dean Kruize Trucking for many years. His last employment was working for Sibley Concrete, where he retired after working for 31 years.
Speed enjoyed making and fixing things and tinkering in his woodshop. He liked square dancing, motorcycle riding, and going out for coffee in the morning. He loved spending time with his family, boating, and camping in Yankton, Black Hills, and the lakes. He was a practical joker and liked to tease everyone, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sibley.
He passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at his home in Sibley.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 55 years, Janice Wollmuth of Sibley, IA; 3 children, 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Gidget and Pat Henning of Sibley, IA, and their children, Michael, Adam and Tracy and their daughter, Presley, and Amber; Kevin and Stephanie Wollmuth of Sibley, IA, and their children, Shelby and Jerry Holbrook III, and Benjamin; Kory and Tina Wollmuth of Farmington, MN, and their children, Alexis, Gaberiella, and Brady; one brother, Gary and Connie Wollmuth of Sibley, IA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Donna Markus of Sibley, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Markus; nephew, Kenny Markus.
