Jayson Dean Pendarvis, Sr. was born April 9, 1963 in Boone, Iowa. He was the son of Wilbur and Nanette Barrett Pendarvis. Jayson grew up in Boone and graduated from Boone High School. He worked in the Boone area.

Jayson died June 27, 2017 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was 54 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 609 Seventh Street, Boone, IA. Interment will be at Boone Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm Friday, June 30 at Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home. Memorials for the family may be left at the funeral home.
