er hard work and accomplishments often went unnoticed and without accolades. She always put the needs of her children and husband above her own. She generously donated her time and talent to the community in various ways. She loved hymns and was a long time member of Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Pella.

Of her original family she is survived by three sisters and one brother; Jeanette and Marvin De Bruin of Oskaloosa, IA; Gerrit and Carol Ann Beekhuizen of Denver, CO; Jean and John TeBrake of Brooten, MN; Betty and Fred Huisken of Edgerton, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gysbert and Adrianna Beekhuizen, her brother, Gilbert Beekhuizen and his wife, Trudy and a granddaughter, Kerrey De Vries.

Funeral Services will be held
Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11:00 am (CST)
Calvary Christian Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa
Interment will be made in the Evergreen Cemetery at Leighton, Iowa
Visitation will begin Sunday morning at Van Dyk- Duven Funeral Home in Pella
Visitation with the family present will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Calvary Christian Reformed Church
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions for the Pella Christian Grade School in Pella, Iowa.
