ge at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora, Iowa on June 8, 1958. To this union three children were born: Tamara, LeAnn and Timothy. Dean proudly served his country as a Marine for 24 years, including two tours of Vietnam. After retiring from the Marines as a Lieutenant Colonel, Dean went on to earn his Master's in Business Administration from Arkansas State University in 1983 and his PhD from Oklahoma State University in 1987. He then worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri - Kansas City until 1996. Dean and Ruth enjoyed the friendships made and games played while wintering in South Texas after retirement. Dean was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls and the Iowa Falls American Legion Post #188, where he served as Post Commander and also the Honor Guard Commander for many years. Dean was also an original charter member of the Legion Veteran's Memorial and helped get that started.Those left to cherish Dean Booth are his children: Tamara Hanna of Greenwood, Arkansas, LeAnn Larson of Grimes, Iowa, and Timothy [Lisa] Booth of Stanton, Nebraska; two brothers: Rex J. Harvey of Prescott, Arizona, and Ki L. Harvey of Dumfries, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Dean Booth was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Anna Booth; his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth Booth, and one brother: Dale L. Booth.
