GRAND PRAIRIE - Robert Rene Rios, 57, passed peacefully into God's arms on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017.

Robert was a charming Texas cowboy, an excellent two-stepper, a faithful servant for our country, a clever jokester, a loving father, an amazing grandfather, and a caring and devoted son and brother.

We are all indebted to him for the joy and laughter he gave to us. He was a great man and his legacy lives in each one of us.

He was preceded in death by his father, Santos Rios; and sister, Dahlia Rios.
Survivors: Daughters, Amber Rene Rios-Saal (Michael), Rachael Catherine Rios, and Isabelle Marie Rios; son, Shaun Tyler Rios; mother, Esther Rios; sister, Rachael (Tim) Bartels; brother, Jimmie (Terri) Rios; nieces, Allison, Nicole and Brenna Bartels and Emily Rios; nephew, Steven Rios; and grandchildren, Devon, Jayden and Nicholas Saal.
