Marcus Allen Hampton "HAMP", 28, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Genesis East, Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Saturday, September 2nd at Pentecostal Church of God, 1234 Ripley Street, Davenport, where his family will greet friends from 10:30 until service time. Apostle Elizabeth Sanders will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family. Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting his family with arrangements Marcus was born October 9, 1988 at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, Iowa, son of Erwin Hampton and Linda Mosley. He was a musician and President of "Hamp" Productions with six CD's produced. He was "large in life", worked with others and believed in giving back to the community. He participated in concerts at Shenanigans' Irish Pub, Davenport.
