Gerald "Jerry" Rodelli, age 79, of Berkeley Township passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Hampton Ridge Healthcare in Toms River after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Jerry was born in Astoria, NY and lived in Long Island City, NY. He moved to Matawan, NJ in 1971 with his family and remained there until 2002 when he moved to the Toms River area.
Jerry was the Senior Vice President of Stonecutter Mills in New York and the National Merchandise Manager of J.P. Stevens in New York. He began his career in textiles in 1958 after having served 2 years in the Army. He also worked for Pressto Graphics in Toms River and was named the "1997 Textile Man of the Year". In addition to being a member of several prestigious textile committees, he was also the co-founder of "The Greater N.Y.C. Ice Hockey League" and was an avid Boston Bruins fan.
Surviving is his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Marie, his daughter Lynn Helyer, his son Todd Rodelli, and 3 beloved grandsons Christopher and Nicholas Helyer and Cameron Rodelli.
