he committees that initiated the Homemaker Service of Rochester and founded the Family Consultation Center which eventually became Family Service Rochester and now provides a wide range of human services.In 1966 Kristy began teaching at the newly organized school of nursing at Rochester Community College, where she taught for 13 years. She was known especially for her caring and insightful heart and her steadfast spirit. Kristy was preceded in death by her parents and her only brother Karl Olsen.She is survived by her husband of 62 years, her daughters & sons-in-law and nine grandchildren who will miss their grandmother deeplyJack, Annie, Ryan, Andrew, Henry, Nate, Casey, Kayla, and Karly. A memorial service to remember and honor Kristy will be at 1:30 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Charter House.A private inurnment will take place at Zumbro Lutheran Church columbarium.Those who wish may honor Kristys memory with a donation to the charity of their choice.
