David Berlyn Walker
ROCHESTER/DULUTH -David B. Walker was born in Rochester MN. On March 20th 1959 to Robert and Wilma (Durhman) Walker. Daveattended and graduated from Mazeppa High School and went on to attend Red Wing Vocational and RAVTI graduating with a diploma in Building Utilities Mechanic. He worked for Rochester Meats before taking a job with JC Pennys working for both the Rochester store and Duluth store. Dave has resided in Duluth since he moved there in 1987. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, dancing and Tae Kwondo. He also enjoyed spending time with family friends and winning trials with his dog Cody. Dave was always the life of any party he attended. Dave was an affiable gregarious guy with an ability to put a smile on anybodys face. Dave was dealt lemons and made lemonade out of them his whole life. He was an inspiration to all those who are afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis. He always made the most out of little and lived each day like it was a gift. David was a loving, caring Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. David is preceded in death by his father, Robert; a sister, Jacqueline Kainz; a brother, Daniel Walker. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 222 1st Ave South in Mazeppa.Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the church.A Rosary Service will be held at 6:45 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.Interment will take place at Mazeppa Catholic Cemetery.
